Founded in 1996 as Chesapean Kayak Tours, this was the first company in Virginia to run guided kayak dolphin tours, and it still operates a private-dock rental and tour center a few blocks from the oceanfront on Laskin Road. Hourly single and double kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddleboard rentals launch straight from the dock, and the guided side runs 2-hour dolphin eco-tours, a First Landing State Park tour past Spanish-moss oaks to Eagle Point, and Chesapeake Bay sunset paddles — plus surf lessons and adventure camps.
