Angie's Guest Cottage Bed & Breakfast
Angie's Guest Cottage Bed & Breakfast is a boutique & luxury hotel in Oceanfront, Virginia Beach, located at 302 24th St. An early-1900s former Coast Guard surfmen's boarding house two blocks from the Boardwalk, run under the same family lore that gave it its name.
Built in the early 1900s to house the families of U.S. Coast Guard surfmen stationed at the old Life-Saving Station, the cottage passed to "the real Angie," whose "iron hand, warm heart, and Italian hospitality" turned it into a rooming house — and gave the inn its name and its local lore. Two blocks from the Boardwalk at 24th Street, today's rooms mix simple kitchenette units with one-bedroom apartments that have their own terraces and living rooms, plus a shared barbecue and picnic area.
