Party at the Pier Summer Series
Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation's Sandbridge summer series pairs Tuesday-night beach movies (8:30pm, with complimentary popcorn) against Thursday-night concerts (6-9pm, with food trucks and Voodoo Brewing on site) at Little Island Park. The 2026 lineup ran Shrek, Trolls World Tour, Lilo & Stitch, and Over the Hedge on the movie nights, with local bands Blackout, Runnin' Shine, BrassWind, and 2 Islands Band headlining the concerts. Both formats are free, outside food and beach chairs are welcome, and parking at the park is free after 5pm — alcohol, glass containers, and tents aren't permitted.
